Hint : In chess, domination problems mean arranging a minimum number of a specific type of chess piece such that all places on the board are attacked by atleast one peice.
Total Domination: This is the same as domination but the spaces occupied by the attacking pieces should also be attacked by some other piece.

May i know how is 7:-none. Is it because it is now possible to dominate the board with 4 queens or there others cases are formed

7 is none of these because 4 queens can never dominate a 5*9 chess board.

q. 7 answer is b as 4 queens can easily dominate the chess board as if we place the 4 queens as 2-2 , 5-3 , 6-4 , 8-5 and the other one is that if we place the queens as 2-4 , 5-3 , 6-2 , 8-1  please chect it and correct the answer key soon .

the answer should surely be 12
8 knights can only dominate the chess board.
however the question asks for a total domination. 12 knights are required for that.
the placings are: d4, d5, e4, e5, a1, a8, h1, h8, c2, c7, f2, f7.
