As the leader of his island, Tintin has decided to take matters into his own hands and rebel against the king.

Question 1 :
Before leaving, he wants to test whether his friend Captain Haddock is wise enough. So he places three boxes A,B,C contain initially 0, 0, 27 balls respectively. He tells that he wants equality among the boxes, and at every ith move you make, you must transfer exactly i balls from one box to another. And you cannot transfer balls between A and B. How many minimum steps( If possible) will Captain take to get to equal number of balls in each box?
(a) 7 (b) 9 (c) 8 (d) Not possible

Duh,the answer is 7.

Answer is D (not possible)

its not possible in last all a,b and c will not be equal

The answer is 7 and its for sure.

Ans is 7

If we can transfer balls back to C also then its 7 otherwise its not possible.

May be ans is D-not possible

I think it should be D (not possible)

In the question it is not mentioned that in a move we can separately put the balls in two different boxes. If we consider that we have to put i balls in only one box then the answer is option D i.e. not possible.

So both answers should be given correct.
